From You, open Studio, then Go live. Add a title, a category and tags so people can find you, then check the go-live list (camera, microphone, connection).

You can stream from the browser with your camera, or from OBS or Restream. You must be 16 or older to go live.

In Studio open Settings › Stream from an encoder and create a stream key. The key is shown once — copy it and keep it safe.

In OBS 30 or newer: Settings › Stream › Service “WHIP”, paste the server URL into Server and the key into Bearer Token. We recommend 1080p or 720p, 30 fps and 2,500–6,000 kbps depending on your upload speed.

Try a test broadcast first: for 30 minutes your stream is not shown to viewers and only you can watch it. If your key leaks, rotate it right away — the old one stops working.

Link Restream in Settings › Integrations, then tap “Add RYV” to add RYV as a Custom WHIP channel in one click. You can also add it by hand with the WHIP URL that contains your key.

Chat from other platforms shows in your room with an “external” badge and the platform name, and passes the same filters. It never counts towards gifts or stats.

Check your upload speed in the stream wizard (speed test). If it is less than twice your bitrate, lower the resolution to 720p or reduce the bitrate.

Close apps that use the network and use Ethernet if you can. The Stream health panel in Studio shows dropped frames and delay.

If it keeps happening, use Report a problem and attach diagnostics so we can see what happened.

In Settings › Gifts create an alerts link and add it to OBS as a Browser source. The link is shown once; if you shared it by mistake, rotate it.

It plays the same gift animations as RYV, so it works on every platform you stream to.

Coins are digital items used only inside RYV to send gifts and support creators. They are not money and cannot be exchanged outside RYV.

Only adults (18+) can buy coins. Payments currently run in the provider’s test mode, so no real money is charged until we announce live payments.

Tap the gift button in the live room and pick a gift. Everyone sees its animation and the creator sees your name.

RYV has no luck-based gifts or loot boxes. You can set a spending limit in Wallet.

Purchases are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise. If you were charged and didn’t get your coins, contact support under Coins & payments with the date of the purchase.

No hate speech or discrimination, no harassment, bullying or threats, no explicit sexual content, and nothing that exploits or endangers minors.

No violence or promoting it or self-harm, no drugs or gambling, no scams or spam, no sharing other people’s personal data without permission, and no intellectual-property infringement.

We may remove violating content, end a stream or restrict an account. You can appeal any action from Account & security.

From the menu of any message, stream, clip or profile choose Report, then a reason. We never reveal who reported to the reported person.

We review reports and act on them. If someone is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first.

Block any account from its profile or a message menu. People you block can’t message or interact with you.

Review and unblock everyone you blocked in You › Blocked accounts.

People under 13 can’t create an account. 13–15 accounts are private by default and never shown in discovery or search engines, and nobody can go live before 16.

Minors see no ads and no adult content, and can’t buy coins or receive earnings before 18.

Family mode links a teen’s account to a parent’s with a code or QR, so the parent controls messages and daily screen time.

Open it from You › Family.

In Account & security › Moderation actions, pick the action and explain why within 90 days. Where possible a different moderator reviews it, and you get a notification with the decision.

Open Account recovery: reset your password with a link to your email, sign in with a code to your phone if your account has one, or with a passkey if you created one.

Lost your authenticator? Sign in with your password, then choose “Use a backup code”. Afterwards, turn on two-step verification again.

Still stuck? Sign in any way you can and contact support under Account & sign-in.

In Account & security turn on the authenticator and scan the QR code. Then create backup codes: ten codes that each work once.

Keep them somewhere safe, off your phone. Creating new codes cancels the old ones.

Add up to 3 accounts on the same device from You › Accounts › Add account, then switch with one tap, or long-press your picture.

Sessions are kept on this device only. Remove accounts before lending your device.

In Account & security › Email, enter the new address. We send a confirmation link, and your email changes only once it’s confirmed.

In Account & security request “Download my data” for a JSON file (link valid 24 hours), or delete your account for good. Financial records may be kept for the period the law requires.

You keep 80% of all fan support (gifts, memberships, tips, pins and series) in your first year, counted from your first earning, then 70%. In other words RYV takes 20% in year one and 30% after that. Your current rate is shown in Earnings, and a rate change never applies to what you have already earned. Every month, 20% of each RYV+ subscription goes to the creators the subscriber watches, or to one they choose.

Earnings are for adults only. Payments currently run in test mode, so no real earnings are paid until we announce live payments.

Payouts are weekly after an identity check with the payment provider, and need a two-step-verified session. VAT may be added or tax withheld depending on your tax residency.

Turn on Members in Studio to offer monthly memberships with perks: members-only chat and clips and badges. Members-only content is never shown to search engines.

In Arena pick a tournament and register. Your match gets a room that shows both players’ streams side by side with translated chat.

Pick’em predictions use free points only — no betting and no money.

Organizing is for adults (18+) with a known age, up to 3 new tournaments per 24 hours. Create the event, choose the bracket type, and check the game publisher’s terms before every event.

Ads appear only between clips and always carry an “Ad” label; there are no ads in live streams and none for people under 18. Turn off personalisation in Ad preferences.

Every ad is listed in the public Ad Library. Report any ad that breaks the rules from its menu.

In Ads manager create an advertiser account, top up a prepaid wallet, then create a campaign. Advertisers are verified and every ad is reviewed before it runs.

Gambling, crypto schemes, alcohol, tobacco, weapons and adult ads are not accepted, and political ads are off by default.
